Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. knows full well that his stats on offense are not going to be up to snuff. Cleveland’s offense is going to be more predicated on running the ball with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt moving forward this season.

Despite a strong performance in last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, that has been the case through two weeks. Beckham Jr. has caught seven passes for 96 yards heading into Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team.

At the very least, OBJ is out here helping struggling quarterback Baker Mayfield. Check out the receiver break up a would-be interception into the hands of Washington defensive back Troy Apke. What’s even better about this is the celebration after the fact.

Given the rumors surrounding a potential Beckham Jr. trade and his questionable relationship with Mayfield, this could be seen as a slight. However, that’s pure speculation.

What we do know is that wide receivers typically don’t celebrate after breaking up would-be interceptions.
