Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets scored a pretty lucky basket in the second quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.
Check out this wild sequence. Jokic was driving to the paint when lost the ball, which went sky high before it was rescued by Paul Milsap, who saved it with a behind-the-back pass to a teammate. Then, Jokic got the ball back and hit a step-back jumper to score two extremely improbable points.
Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. In this case, Jokic was both.
