WATCH: Nevada WR Elijah Cooks makes unbelievable one-handed catch

College football season is back and with prolific offenses and exciting players comes unbelievable plays. Nevada Wolf Pack wide receiver Elijah Cooks provided fans with exactly that on Friday with an insane one-handed catch.

The 6-foot-4 junior broke open when quarterback Carson Strong unleashed a pass that nearly sailed over Cooks’ head. Cooks soared into the air and somehow made a one-handed grab while reaching back to snag it and pick up a few yards.

It doesn’t even matter if he didn’t pick up the first down. The ability to make a one-handed catch on the run is a rare skillset and the junior found a way to do that while reaching back for the football.

Cooks’ big catch lit up the sideline with energy and will likely help him draw even more targets in the future from Strong. This could be the spark that starts a breakout season for Cooks.
