The NC State Wolfpack did everything right. They fought hard throughout the entire game and had 33-yard field goal to win the game with two seconds left on the clock. Then kicker Kyle Bambard shanked the easy attempt wide right, giving No. 3 Clemson a chance to win in overtime.

It was a punch to the gut after the Wolfpack had run the clock down on a 14-play, 55-yard drive to set up the game-winner. Unfortunately, Bambard, who had already missed two of his three previous attempts, shanked it right to send the game into overtime.
