Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks outfielder Brennan Metzger was not interested in a respectable debate with the home plate umpire after being called out on strikes Monday night.
So instead of simply arguing balls and strikes, Metzger decided to tell the umpire exactly what he thought of him. That included the outfielder heading to the dugout and bringing a literal trash can on to the field.
The entire scene is next level awesome.

How he came up with the idea of using a trash can as a prop is anyone’s guess. But it sent a clear message to the ump — you’re garbage.
The Independent League team ultimately came out on top against the Chicago Dogs (yes, that’s a thing). So while tempers were brought to new heights in Fargo, the end result was a victory.
