Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of Hall of Famer and Boston Red Sox legend Carl Yastrzemsk, got a standing ovation from fans at Fenway Park Tuesday.

A bit later on, the young man stepped to the plate and ripped a home run to dead center field.

That is the stuff legends are made of.

This was Yastrzemski’s 20th home run of the season, and it put the San Francisco Giants up 5-1 over the Boston Red Sox in this game.
