The Chicago Bears and quarterback Mike Glennon were looking to build off their rather strong Week 1 showing in a narrow loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday against Tampa Bay.
That obviously has not happened. Already down 17-0 to his former team late in the second quarter, Glennon reminded the Bears of former quarterback Jay Cutler with this pick-six into the hands of Buccaneers corner Robert McClain.
It was bad. Really bad.

That’s simply a pass you can’t make as a starting quarterback in the NFL. Ultimately, it was returned 47 yards for a 23-0 Buccaneers lead heading into the half.
It was the fourth turnover of the first half for the Bears, three of which were committed by Glennon himself. Not exactly the best reunion for the former Buccaneers quarterback in Tampa Bay.
We now have to start wondering whether the Bears will turn to rookie No. 2 pick Mitchell Trubisky at some point here soon.
