TMZ reporters caught up with Today Show host Matt Lauer because word has apparently leaked that Lauer has landed an interview with Ray Rice. Despite TMZ’s probing questions, Lauer vehemently keeps repeating the show has made no announcement of conducting an interview with Rice.
What I do admire here is Lauer’s class and patience with the TMZ crew as they repeatedly question him while he is trying to get his clothing and such loaded into his car to leave the scene.
It remains to be seen if Rice actually will be interviewed by Lauer and the Today Show, which should make for a heck of an interesting and awkward interview.
