There’s nothing funny about the pandemic plaguing the United States right now. But at some point, you have to take a step back and realize it can’t be all doom and gloom. That’s no way to live.

Just ask a Miami Marlins squad that saw over half of its roster contract the virus earlier in the 2020 season. Miami just returned to action against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday after a week-plus hiatus.

Immediately ahead of their game against the Orioles on Wednesday, the Marlins posted this hilarious video. It includes cutouts of all the players away from the team while recovering from COVID-19.

This is absolutely great. All they are missing is a cutout of SpongeBob. That was clearly a lost opportunity.

Having played just four games thus far this season, Miami currently boasts a 3-1 record. The team will attempt to keep it going against the Orioles at Camden Yards Wednesday afternoon.
