Oakland Raiders fans have long had the unfortunate label of being a little less than model citizens. As a whole, this label is utterly ridiculous.
But what happened at a Circle K convenience store in Tucson, AZ. earlier this month doesn’t bode well for their reputation.
That’s right. It’s a dude robbing the store in a Raiders helmet.
I guess one could say this is a good way from masking your face from the camera…and eventually the authorities.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department had a pretty funny take on the whole situation:
Press Release: Raider's Fan and Friend Help Themselves at Southside Circle K http://t.co/IdfE1Oacpd
— Pima County Sheriff's Department (@PimaSheriff) July 21, 2015
“The males went behind the counter and began taking liquor and cigarettes. When the clerk returned, they ordered him to open the register. One of the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and they left the store on foot.”
Unfortunately, it’s going to be hard to narrow down the helmet-wearing, alcohol-drinking and cigarette-smoking football fan. Such is the nature of the beast when it comes to crimes like this.
