WATCH: Kenny Golloday lays out Trumaine Johnson, forces fumble

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Patricia and the Detroit Lions might want to think about trying receiver Kenny Golloday out at defensive back, or even linebacker.

Matthew Stafford was intercepted for the second time in Monday’s game vs. the New York Jets. But thanks to a hit from Golloday on New York defensive back Trumaine Johnson, the Lions got the ball back.

That’s just a perfect hit from Golloday. The ball was immediately jarred loose. In fact, Johnson actually went to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion as a result, though he did return.

Unfortunately for the Lions, it didn’t lead to much. Detroit actually went backwards from there and Matt Prater ended up missing a long field goal.
