Thus far on Sunday, the battle of MVP candidates in Baltimore has gone to none other than Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Already up 7-0 after his 16th touchdown pass of the season, Jackson doubled the lead against Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans with a beautiful 18-yard touchdown strike to Mark Andrews.

That’s a heck of a throw for a wide receiver to make. Maybe Baltimore should make the decision to move Jackson to quarterback.

All joking aside, these are throws that truly elite NFL quarterbacks make. It’s something we’ve seen from Jackson on a never-ending loop during his sophomore season.

Watching him mature as a quarterback has been a pleasure for those around the football world. Just don’t tell that to the Texans.
