WATCH: Kyrie Irving records ‘Uncle Drew’ soundtrack

Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving isn’t simply one of the best players at his position in the NBA. He’s soon going to become a legit movie star, playing the lead role in the soon-to-be released motion picture Uncle Drew.

Under the umbrella of the production company Temple Hill Entertainment, the movie follows the title character (Irving) around as he takes part in a street ball tournament at Rucker Park in Harlem.

Set to be released later this year, the movie also stars Tiffany Haddish and Nick Kroll as well as multiple basketball figures, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber and Reggie Miller included.

Not only is Irving going to be making his big screen debut here, he’s now out there recording the soundtrack for the movie.

In this one scribe’s humble opinion, Irving has some pretty mad skills inside the recording studio. Maybe, this could be a second career for a dude that exists in a league of stars also looking to make their way into the music industry.

Job well done, Kyrie.
