WATCH: Khris Davis blasts two homers against Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles’ pitching staff might as well be renamed the launching pad. This team had given up a MLB-high 27 homers heading into Wednesday’s game against the Oakland Athletics.

One of the most powerful teams in the Majors, Oakland added another five to that tally in a 10-3 in over the hapless Orioles.

That included two blasts from A’s slugger Khris Davis. The first one came with Oakland up 5-0 in the top of the 5th.

Just a couple innings later, Davis showed off his opposite-field power once again for his seventh jack of the season.

That’s now 32 homers the Orioles have given up in a total of 12 games this season. Yeah, this would be the wrong kind of record. No wonder nary a soul is showing up for their games this season.

As it relates to Davis, he’s now hit 16 more homers than any other MLB player since joining the A’s back in 2016. His second jack Wednesday night represented the 200th of Davis’ career.
