Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales etched his name into the history books on Sunday with a home run in a seventh consecutive game.
In the third inning, Toronto’s designated hitter unloaded on a 95-mph fastball to become part of team history.

Morales set the franchise record for consecutive games with a home run and became the seventh player in MLB history to hit a home run in seven straight games.
He is now just one game shy of joining Ken Griffey Jr., Don Mattingly and Dale Long as the only players ever to home run in eight consecutive games.
The 35-year-old slugger is simply on a historic tear right now and he seems to have no plans of slowing down in the near future.
The Blue Jays will play at Camden Yards on Monday, one of the most hitter-friendly stadiums in baseball. It should allow Morales to have an excellent chance to etch his name into the history books even more.
