Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid committed a hard offensive foul in the fourth quarter of Friday’s Game 6 against the Atlanta Hawks, and appeared to elbow John Collins to the deck, which ignited a near brawl on the court.

Frustrations were flying from the Hawks’ end as their offense began sputtering down the stretch of a potential close-out game. Embiid had a tough start to Friday’s contest but imposed his will on the glass on several occasions.
In what’s been a hard-fought series, two of the most skilled big men in the NBA simply got caught up in the heat of the moment.
Fans in State Farm Arena began a profane chant at Embiid for his post-whistle antics, as he bodied up on Collins and sent him to the floor once again, which prompted young Hawks star Trae Young to mix it up. Many members from both teams got in on the action.
Ultimately, officials helped calm things down, as Embiid and Collins were assessed double technical fouls.
