Just a week after the Orlando Magic drafted him with the No. 5 pick, Mohamed Bamba has already had his ‘welcome to the league’ moment.
Bamba participated in a pickup basketball game with Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and several others in Los Angeles.
Naturally, Embiid saw the game as an opportunity to teach the 20-year-old center a little about what life would be like in the NBA.
Bamba, who averaged 3.7 blocks per game last season in college, held his own for a moment then got dunked on. After the dunk, Embiid delivered the perfect, expletive-laden line to cap off the perfect moment.
Joel Embiid welcomed Mo Bamba "to the f—-ing league" in a pick-up basketball game. 😂

This should only be the beginning for these two centers. Now we’ll have to look forward to them facing off next season to see if Bamba gets some revenge after Embiid baptized him.
