Cowboys

Owner Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have had themselves one heck of a 2020 NFL Draft thus far.

Dallas has targeted multiple former Oklahoma players, as noted by Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley. That includes the Boys taking defensive tackle Neville Gallimore in the third round Friday night.

On a call with Gallimore to tell him he’s headed to Big D, Jones had himself a great interaction with the massive 304-pound young man. It’s vintage Jerry Jones.

The conversation went something like this.

Party poopers and those in the no fun league might point to Jones not wanting to encourage his players to “tear the roof off.” But why the heck not?

Friday represented the biggest day in the young man’s life. He should be able to celebrate.
