Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert was beaten off the dribble. Then, he recovered just in time to pull off one of the best blocks we’ve seen all year.
Check out the quick reaction by Gobert, who came seemingly out of nowhere to swat this shot.
That was almost as amazing as what Zion Williamson did on Friday night.
Delon Wright went from thinking he had the game-tying bucket in hand to chasing Utah the other way in a hurry. With just over 24 seconds left, Gobert’s block ended up sealing the 112-107 win for the Jazz.
It was also Gobert’s fifth block of the game. He finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds as well and was clearly a big reason why the Jazz emerged victorious.
