Arizona State Sun Devils freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels has flashed plenty of potential in his first season. On Saturday, he made one of his best throws of the year on an absurd 57-yard touchdown.
The Oregon Ducks gave Daniels time to sit back in the pocket and wait for his man to get open. When receiver Frank Darby broke open deep down the sideline, Daniels dropped a sensational dime into his receiver’s hands in stride for the game-tying touchdown.
We’ve seen Daniels put his fantastic arm and game-changing athleticism on display all year. After the 57-yard touchdown, he can now add his name to Arizona State’s record books with the most passing yards by a freshman in a season. This is only the beginning of what could be a memorable career with the Sun Devils.
