At the start of every great player’s career is a “wow” moment that shows there is something special about them. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington had that moment on Sunday with an unbelievable catch against the New England Patriots.

Early in the second quarter, Pittsburgh hunted for the big play deep down the field and Washington made it happen. Despite tight coverage on him, the rookie wide receiver went up in the air and made a sensational grab.

The 22-year-old rookie has had a quiet year up to this point with just 10 receptions for 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. This could be the play that helps him fully earn Ben Roethlisberger’s trust and helps him become a big weapon moving forward in this offense.
