Bethune Cookman could not have seen this coming. With the team losing its season debut 9-7 in the third quarter, Jackson State connected on a long touchdown to put the Tigers up by eight points.

The play itself was pretty cool. However, it’s what followed that has football fans buzzing about this game.

Check out Jackson State’s mascot join the celebration on the field and get into a scuffle with some Bethune Cookman players.

The feline was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. No joke. It led to a 15-yard penalty and a missed extra point.
