Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young continues to make the hard plays look easy. He’s been a highlight-reel play waiting to happen thus far as a sophomore.

The undermanned Minnesota Timberwolves found that out first-hand Wednesday evening. Young was out there throwing up alley-oop after alley-oop in the first quarter.

It started with this pass to Damian Jones.

Later in the first quarter, Young set up a flush from John Collins.

It’s nearly impossible to stop Young when he’s cooking. We saw it earlier in the week with an absurd first quarter performance against the Boston Celtics.

With Minnesota forced to start four guards against the Hawks Wednesday after a blockbuster trade the night before, it is feeling the wrath of one Mr. Young early on.
