Zion Williamson Giannis Antetokounmpo

New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson has already established himself as one of the NBA’s most impressive stars. While he’s delivered plenty of highlight plays this season, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo¬†humbled the rookie on Tuesday night.

Williamson got away on the breakaway and started to take flight for a nice bucket against Antetokounmpo. The reigning NBA MVP wasn’t having it, using his length to easily reject Zion’s shot and his dreams of a bucket.

A matchup against Antetokounmpo¬†and one of the NBA’s best defenses is proving to be quite the learning experience for Zion. The 19-year-old finished the first half with 10 points, but made only 3-of-13 attempts from the field.

Of course, it probably won’t be long until Zion gets his revenge. The Pelicans went into halftime with a lead and it’s only a matter of time until their star rookie goes off.
