WATCH: Yankees’ Gary Sanchez drills 481-foot home run

The New York Yankees lineup is back to full health with the return of Aaron Judge. Now the league’s best power-hitting lineup is back and on Friday night, catcher Gary Sanchez put that power on display with an insane bomb.

In the third inning against the Houston Astros, Sanchez took an 82-mph changeup and blasted it over the bullpen for a jaw-dropping 481-foot, two-run home run off Brad Peacock.

The 481-foot blast is the fourth-longest home run hit during the 2019 season and the third-furthest homer outside of Coors Field, according to StatCast.

Now with Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Sanchez near the top of New York’s lineup, 450-plus foot bombs could become routine at Yankee Stadium. Don’t be surprised if it isn’t long before one of Sanchez’s teammates surpasses this distance on a home run.
