Francisco Lindor was in the on-deck circle on Sunday, waiting to lead an inning off. Unfortunately the Cleveland Indians shortstop, his bat, specifically the doughnut on his bat, didn’t want to play ball.
Lindor tried and tried to get the doughnut off his bat, but it did not budge. Lindor finally got the doughnut off when he went back to his dugout and banged the bat off of the cement steps.

While the doughnut eventually came off, it’s fair to say that it got the better of Lindor in this round.
There’s not a lot that Lindor doesn’t do well on the baseball field. But as we learned on Sunday, his technique here can use some work.
