The Cleveland Cavaliers and their fans have every reason to be frustrated. Despite seeing LeBron James put up a triple-double in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Cleveland was no match for the Golden State Warriors. Led by Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, the Warriors won going away by the score of 132-113.
But it wasn’t the players on Cleveland that showed this frustration. Instead, a fight broke out between fans as James and Co. were heading off the court following the game.
It was pretty darn ugly.
At the very least, it looks like the Warriors and Cavs were able to stay away from what could have been a much uglier situation.
Game 3 of the Finals is in Cleveland on Wednesday with the Cavaliers in a must-win situation. Golden State has won the first two games of the series by a combined 41 points.
Let’s hope the ugly scene we viewed in Oakland doesn’t follow to Ohio. No one needs that.
