WATCH: Falcons TE Austin Hooper hurdles DB on TD catch

By Jesse Reed

Atlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper figures to continue emerging as a go-to option for Matt Ryan in the passing game as he enters his third season. Based on what he did on the team’s first drive Friday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, he’s well on his way.

Check out Hooper hurdling Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Steven Nelson en route to the end zone.

That’s some serious air there from the former third-round pick out of Stanford.

Last year, Hooper caught 49 passes for 526 yards and three touchdowns. We expect those numbers to rise in 2018.
