While the SMU Mustangs might not have noticed East Carolina’s 5-foot-7 receiver before the game, they’re certainly aware of Tyler Snead now. The redshirt freshman is having the game of his life on Saturday and added to it with a 57-yard touchdown.

Snead took the field in the fourth quarter already dominating with 17 receptions for more than 170 receiving yards. SMU still couldn’t find an answer for Snead as he burned them deep and hauled in the easy 57-yard score.

The redshirt freshman blew past the 200-yard mark with his third touchdown of the game and is now just five receptions shy of tying the NCAA’s single-game record. He might just reach it with how easily he’s getting open against the Mustangs’ secondary.
