The Philadelphia Eagles did not get off to a hot start against the division-rival Washington Redskins at home on Sunday.

How bad is it? Philadelphia trailed 17-0 less than 20 minutes into the game. That included Vernon Davis absolutely humiliating the Eagles’ defense.

All said, Washington out gained Philadelphia 218-69 within those first 20 minutes. Eagles fans on hand at Lincoln Financial Field were not having it.

To be clear. Eagles fans have the right here. This is not like them booing Santa. We’re talking about people that paid top dollar to attend this season opener.

In turn, the Eagles have turned an otherwise awesome September day into a dumpster fire. Boo all you want.
