PGA superstar Dustin Johnson entered Round 3 of the Travelers Championship in Connecticut minus-7 and with an outside shot at moving up the leader board at TPC River Highlands.

What Johnson proceeded to do was nothing short of astounding. The former U.S. Open winner put up threes on six consecutive holes, marking just the fourth time he’s accomplished that feat.

The scorecard is simply amazing.

  • Hole 7: Birdie
  • Hole 8: Par
  • Hole 9: Birdie
  • Hole 10: Birdie
  • Hole 11: Par
  • Hole 12: Birdie

For good measure, Johnson ended up putting up a birdie on the par-five 13th hole to take a share of the lead.

The imagery of his consistent success Saturday was golf prowess at its best.

It was just on Friday we saw another pro put up one heck of a highlight reel shot.

A tourney that has been clouded by multiple positive COVID-19 tests is now picking up steam on the links. Let’s hope that continues through Sunday.
