Kansas City Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt hasn’t had to do a heck of a lot of work this year thanks to Patrick Mahomes and Co. tearing up the league. But on Sunday he was preparing to punt after the offense appeared to be stalling, backed up near its own end zone.
Chris Conley and Travis Kelce had both dropped passes, leading to a 3rd-and-10 from the 11-yard line, and Colquitt was on the sideline preparing to run onto the field for what he assumed would be a punt on the next play.
That’s when Mahomes uncorked the longest touchdown pass of his young career — an 89-yard gem to Demarcus Robinson — that was also, fittingly, his 50th touchdown pass of the season.
Everyone was fired up about this play. However, Colquitt’s reaction really was something you have to see.

That’s just priceless.
