Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell has earned his reputation for draining clutch shots and fooling defenders with jaw-dropping moves. He demonstrated that again on Wednesday with a nasty crossover and shot against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Utah led by seven late in the fourth quarter when point guard Mike Conley fed the ball to Mitchell near the corner. That’s when Mitchell went up, then crossed back to his left and unleashed the three as Robert Covington’s ankles collapsed and his body flew to the ground.

Mitchell’s stunning sequence gave his teammates a spark and his team a 10-point lead just as the clock ticked under three minutes. It’s the type of play that breaks ankles and can even break the comeback hopes of an opponent.
