There are two versions of Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. There is the man who finds a way to make a young fan’s entire year. Then there is the Mitchell fans see when the game starts and he starts humiliating opponents with nasty moves and ferocious dunks.
Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic came face-to-face with Mitchell’s fierce side on the court and he ended up on a poster because of it. After taking advantage of a screen, Mitchell cut inside and burst to the paint where he saw the 6-foot-11 center waiting. He soared into the air and threw down a one-handed slam right in Vucevic’s face.
There just seems to be no way to stop Mitchell when he has the basketball in his hands. He’ll use a nasty crossover move to shake off a guard and sink a three or drive right into a center’s face and throw in a one-handed dunk that gets the stadium rocking.
Between the free shoes from Mitchell and this epic poster dunk, which we hope his family will get him an actual poster of, we’d say the young fan enjoyed the show Utah’s star guard put on in Tuesday’s win.
