While the NFL’s top receivers are used to facing a variety of defensive coverages focused on stopping them, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams showed that sometimes it can leave them baffled.

Adams came off the line and ran his route on second down when he found himself in triple coverage. When the play was over, the Pro Bowl receiver couldn’t help but count just how many defenders were covering him.

Even when teams throw double coverage at Adams, he routinely finds ways to beat it and make big plays. Given the Packers lack of depth in their receiving corps, throwing three defenders at Adams is a pretty sound strategy by Chicago.

It also helps that Chicago’s pass rush is one of the best in the NFL and can create plenty of.pressure even when more players covering one wide receiver.
