Shortly after fumbling the football into the end zone for a San Diego Chargers touchdown, San Francisco 49ers quarterback scampered 90 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter of the teams game at Levi’s Stadium on Saturday night.
And it was a thing of beauty.
This represented the longest run for the 49ers from scrimmage since Garrison Hearst’s amazing overtime run against the New York Jets in 1998.
Out of contention for a playoff spot, San Francisco has played inspiring ball against a Chargers squad that is in must-win mode.
And despite Kaepernick’s struggles this season, he showed us exactly why he can be so dynamic on the football field.
