WATCH: Celtics’ Jaylen Brown has horrific spill following a dunk

Boston Celtics youngster Jaylen Brown has had himself an absolutely amazing sophomore campaign in the NBA. Brown and his Celtics were looking to continue that success Thursday night in Minnesota against the Timberwolves.

In an NBA season that has been defined by scary and downright ugly injuries, it looked for a second that Brown might be the latest to fall victim.

Here, we see Brown land on the hardwood following a dunk attempt. By the looks of it, his neck/head region hit the hardwood first. It’s what we’d call a horrific spill.

A closer look shows Brown being completely out of it following the play.

After the fall, it became apparent that fellow members of the Celtics were concerned about Brown’s well-being. In fact, Marcus Smart was down on bended knee in prayer and Al Horford was sitting by Brown’s side.

Here’s a few more images from the scene.

The good news here is that Brown was able to walk to the locker room under his own power after being down on the court for some time.

There’s no further information available regarding Brown’s status from the Celtics. Updates are sure to follow.
