When he’s been on the court thus far this season, Cleveland Cavaliers rookie first-round pick Kevin Porter Jr. has played some great basketball. Unfortunately, he’s missed extensive time to injury.
Now completely healthy, the USC product is showing everyone what he can do. Check out this vicious windmill slam on a fast break against the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday night. It’s something else.
Not many NBA players boast that type of athleticism. What’s crazy here is the fact that Porter Jr. is still a teenager. He has a whole lot of room to grow.
The youngster entered Sunday’s action averaging 9.4 points and 3.1 rebounds on 45% shooting from the field this season. Expect him to get a lot more play as Cleveland closes up shop on yet another lost season.
