When training for an NFL job that has eluded you during a pandemic, it’s not a bad thing to have friends like Odell Beckham Jr. Cam Newton shared a video of a workout he had with OBJ, and it was pretty cool seeing these stars getting work in together.

Newton is coming back from a foot injury and has been sharing videos of his progress on social media. Recently, he shared a workout that highlighted his balance and strength. The throwing session he did with Beckham only further shows that Newton is in phenomenal shape, and that he can still throw the ball with zip all over the field.

Beckham, who’s coming back from his own injury, also looked great. He had core muscle surgery and played most of last season under painful conditions.

When will Cam Newton sign with an NFL team?

The big question everyone has is whether Newton will sign with any NFL team as a backup. Reportedly, he could wait until there is an injury to sign, rather than sign as a backup before preseason begins.

The one team that makes the most sense from a roster standpoint has no money to spend. But it stands to reason that Newton will have an NFL job sometime in the near future, even if he waits until after training camp to sign.
