As his Carolina Panthers opened up mandatory minicamp Tuesday, former NFL MVP Cam Newton is expected to throw for the first time since undergoing shoulder surgery.
That news should excite Panthers fans big time. Though, the always kind Newton did his best to excite another contingent of young Panthers fans from Make A Wish as he took to the practice field.
This might very well be the best thing we’ll see around the sports world this week. Not only did Newton greet the children, his electric personality came out in full force.
Potentially the most misunderstood player in football, anyone who has followed Newton’s career knows this is not a surprise. Super Cam continues to give back to the community in a way that has made him a true legend in Charlotte.
