Chicago White Sox starter Ross Detwiler was just going about his business Saturday evening. He couldn’t have envisioned being on the raw end of some Bryce Harper magic.

Despite some struggles in his first season as a member of the Phillies, Harper has hit the ball a long way at times in 2019.

That included this moonshot to the upper deck against Mr Detwiler. Check it out in all of its glory.

One legitimately has to wonder whether this left Earth’s orbit and made its way to space before landing in the upper deck. The thing had wings on it.

Harper, 26, is hitting just .248 with 18 homers and 72 RBI. Philadelphia is going to need much more of this type of display from the former MVP to catch the Atlanta Braves in the NL East moving forward.
