Bryce Harper got off to an extremely slow start this spring after signing a massive contract to join the Philadelphia Phillies. On Thursday, he amended all that with an absolute laser-shot home run — his first as a member of the Phillies.

This first-pitch blast off Sam Caviglio in the first inning had Phillies fans on their feet.

Prior to this homer, Harper had just one hit in his previous 17 at-bats. Needless to say, it was a welcome change, both for the slugger and his fans.
