WATCH: Bryce Harper gunned out at home after tremendous throw

Young St. Louis Cardinals centerfielder Harrison Bader has made more than a few plays in the field thus far this season.

Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper found out just how exceptional of a fielder his counterpart is Tuesday night.

With Philadelphia leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Rhys Hoskins seemed to drive Harper in with a two-out single. That’s when Bader had other ideas.

Just check out this absolute dart of a throw by Bader to get Harper at home plate and keep it a one-run game.

Everything had to work to perfection for Bader to get Harper at home. The former NL MVP was running on contact. While he is known for the long ball, Harper has put up double-digit steals four times in his career. He has speed.

Even then, Bader was able to nail Harper at home with a line drive throw right to catcher Yadier Molina. Just brilliant stuff.
