Brandon Ingram, Rudy Gobert
Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

This is not something we see every day. Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert is known as the Stifle Tower for a reason. He’s earned NBA Defensive Player of the Year twice for a reason.

Apparently, no one told this to New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram. Check out the young star throwing down a reverse dunk on Gobert, posterizing the big man in the process.

That’s absolutely filthy stuff right there from a dude in Ingram who has exceeded all expectations in his first season with NOLA after being acquired in the Anthony Davis trade.

Ingram really did do Gobert dirty on the play.

The former No. 2 overall pick entered Thursday’s action averaging 25.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. He should be an All-Star.
