It’s absolutely great to see Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkić back on the court for the first time since March 25 of last year when he suffered a gruesome leg injury.
The veteran started for his Portland Trail Blazers in their first game in Orlando Friday afternoon against the Memphis Grizzlies. Nurkić put on a show early, too.
That included the big man posterizing stud Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson in the first quarter. Check it out.
Nurkić, 25, is a key cog for the Blazers as they look to sneak into the playoffs with the 2019-20 NBA season resuming at Walt Disney World this week.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina native averaged 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists before going down to that severe injury last season.
