Baylor running back LaMycal Hasty was tackled from behind thanks to his long hair during the third quarter of the Big 12 Championship Game.
Oklahoma safety Pat Fields was desperate to stop Hasty from breaking a long run down the right sideline and grabbed the only legal thing he could to haul the running back down.
That’s gotta hurt.
Funny enough, you cannot bring players down by grabbing the back of their pads. But hair tackling is just fine, apparently.
