Late in Wednesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics, a security guard unfortunately found himself right in the middle of a play.
Hunter Pence hit a high foul ball near the Texas dugout. Oakland first baseman, Mark Canha, went to play the ball. But before he could catch the ball, it struck the head of a security guard in the dugout.
Ouch. That’s not something you ever want to see happen.
The good news is that the ball wasn’t hit too hard. So, the guard appeared to be okay.
