We’ll, that escalated quickly. Just as it looked like the defending champion New England Patriots were going to blow out the Kansas City Chiefs, Alex Smith and Co. came back big time.
Down 17-14 early in the third quarter, Smith hit speedster Tyreek Hill on a 75-yard touchdown pass. It was an absolute thing of beauty.

We really would like to know what first-year Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore was doing there. How do you lose an elite-level talent like Hill in coverage? It’s just beyond comprehension.
But for the Chiefs, they have seemingly opened up their offense big time. This touchdown from Smith to Hill was a prime example of that.
