WATCH: Aaron Rodgers hits Jimmy Graham for first TD of NFL season

After the NFL’s 100th season opened with an ugly offensive showing in the first quarter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came through to kick off the second quarter with the first touchdown of the NFL season.

It started with a 47-yard strike deep down the field to wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He then came through inside the red zone with an eight-yard dime to tight end Jimmy Graham for the touchdown.

Rodgers first-quarter performance saw Green Bay post its lowest yardage total in a quarter in two decades. A new quarter seemed to bring new life into the All-Pro quarterback and Green Bay’s offense.

Now we’ll have to see if this boost propels Green Bay over the remainder of the game or if Chicago’s defense proves why it is the best in the NFL.
