The Washington Football Team put All-Pro guard Brandon Scherff on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, making it unlikely he’ll be cleared to play in Tuesday’s game.

Washington’s road game against the Philadelphia Eagles was moved from Sunday to Tuesday due to the team’s complications with COVID-19.

Washington activated defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and defensive end Montez Sweat from the COVID-19 list on Saturday. Defensive linemen Casey Toohill, Daniel Wise and James Smith-Williams were also activated.

Washington quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen remain on the list, along with 14 other teammates. The club has until noon Tuesday to activate players to the roster.

The No. 5 overall draft pick in 2015, Scherff is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a 2020 All-Pro. He missed time earlier this season with a knee injury. He was on the reserve/COVID-19 list once before, during training camp.

Washington and the Eagles enter the game with 6-7 records and are in must-win situations to remain in the playoff hunt. Washington is just outside the playoff picture at No. 8 while the Eagles are currently 10th.
